After logging in, you have to click on the e-file tab. In this, you have to click on the option of e-verify return in income tax return. Then after this a new page will open in front of you. Where you will see your unverified ITR. After this you will see two options here, e-verify and discard. You have to click on the discard option.
This thing has to be taken care of
You get the opportunity to use the discard option only when you have not verified your ITR. That is, if you have verified your income tax return, then you will not be able to use the discard option. But if you have not verified your income tax return.
Then you will not have any problem in using the discard option. You can use discard as many times as you want. That is why when you verify your return, do check it once. If you feel there is some mistake, correct it again and then verify it. So that there is no problem in getting the return.
